Hi, if you're reading this just know that I wanna start/join a band with people around my age. I'm interested in playing genres like skramz, screamo, deathcore or other similar genres because they incorporate screaming and singing, both of which I like to do. Additionally, I've seen places like Texas and other places blowing up with numerous bands that I think are cool like Ourbluewounds, Victimblamed, and Widowdusk and I think that SJ/The bay area doesn't have as many in comparison. I also love the idea of having a band, building a community of people that like our music, being able to play shows and of course...having fun.
I have experience when it comes to singing but my technique isn't the best when it comes to screaming (I learned from the internet, not lessons lol). If I'm being completely honest my song writing isn't the best either but I think it would be cool if other bandmates and I contributed to it.
And also, If you're reading this and are scared of not being good enough, just know that I'm not the best either. If you think you can play any of the aforementioned genres, its worth giving it a shot.
