ABOUT

Hi! My name is Kaiya Pelletier. I have been a performing artist and singer-songwriter for over 10 years. I started playing music and singing when I was 15 in Portland, Oregon teaching myself how to sing and play the acoustic guitar. At 17, I started my own band called Kaiya On The Mountain (you can check out that Bandmix account if you want).

Through this band I played hundreds of shows all over the west coast and now beginning in North Carolina where I am currently based.

I've done everything from podcasts, radio stations, performed live on the news, local bars, small intimate venues, 7 day residencies, hippie festivals. You name it. I love performing, singing and writing music. It's a huge passion of mine.

I play acoustic guitar, however I just know basic chords as my true talent is really with my voice and my lyrics. I have experience as both a lead vocalist and as a back up - I am very flexible with genres and have done everything from DND concept albums, southern rock, funk and blues and acoustic/folk music.

I am looking join another band as a back up vocalist and can take lead vocals on a few songs if you are wanting that too. I also know how to keep rhythm with a tambourine, so I can add that to the stage if you want.

Let's play some music together!
