ABOUT

I'm a lifetime musician. I studied cello, all the way to the Vienna Hochschule fur Musik. I played in every symphony in Iowa at one time. But I also had great success playing electric cello in various bands. You can hear me on both Jen Gloeckner albums (one is on One Little Indian!)

I've also play electric bass in lots of bands. My forte was funk/hip-hop, but I have such a diverse musical language, I can play in alt/indie groups really well.

As for guitar, I play acoustic and electric. My best is alt/folk on acoustic.

Oh, and I have been a singer forever. I was classically trained, but have mucho experiencia in blues. And I play blues harmonica.

I've been following The Psalmist on - those players are on fire! I could get behind something like that.
