Formed in 1992 by Daryl Anderson(Lead Guitar/Voc),,Brad Dawsey(Lead Guitar), Dave Buck(Hammond Organ) Willie Best(Bass/Voc),Chris Sharp(Drums/Voc)Southern Blue is a Southern Rock/Blues/Blues Rock band that has opened for many national acts including,The Kentucky Headhunters, Molly Hatchet,The Outlaws,Confederate Railroad, Lonestar, Blake Shelton,Colt Ford, Brantley Gilbert,David Alan Coe,Randall Bramblett,Tracy Byrd, Ronnie McDowell, Keith Anderson,The Little River Band,Billy Joe Royal,and Rhett Aikens and have shared billing with such acts as Lynyrd Skynyrd,Hank Jr.,Le Ann Rimes and Sugarland to name a few. We`ve played hundreds of venues including The House of Blues,Carolina Entertainment Complex, Suck Bang Blow,Tootsies(Nashville),H.B. Spokes and The Beachwagon to mention a few.We do originals, and covers by the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd,The Allman Bros.,ZZ Top,Hank Jr.,SRV,Howlin Wolf and many,many more!
