Inspired by simple truths & conscientious themes, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Kara Hesse is a dynamic, new artist, with a refreshing sound and a pertinent message. Rooted early on in classic rock, folk, blues, and barbershop, the sounds of Kara’s midwestern upbringing later collided with her love for jazz, soul, and funk. Seamlessly meshing a diverse collection of genres with her own unique style, Kara has pioneered a fresh, innovative sound that not only appeals to all demographics, but which is destined to endure the test of time.

A new addition to Denver’s 103.5 The Fox Groove Hawgs, from BB King, Al Green, & Buddy Guy to her first pilot, she has partaken in numerous benefits from coast to coast and is currently building her own foundation which you will hear about soon. A native of Boulder, Colorado, and a recent transplant to Seattle, Washington, she is currently wrapping up her first album, entitled Love In Places, set to debut in the summer of 2011. She is seeking an original band based out of Seattle.
