I have been playing the piano and singing for years. My vocal strength is all in my soprano range but I can sing mezzo or alto backups. I can play a little violin and guitar but I am still working on those. Mostly right now I use them for backup or rhythm. I have played jazz, prog rock, folk. I would love to form or get into a symphonic metal band. I just love that stuff.

Influences
I love love love symphonic metal and rock. Within Temptation, Nightwish, Epica, Lacuna Coil. If I could ever be in a band like that, I would probably melt from happiness. I am also a huge fan of Classic Rock and in particular Queen. Freddie Mercury is one of my heroes. I will never have a voice that special but I totally want to be like him when I grow up :) I also am hugely influenced I think by the Pink Floyd concept album. I have a couple that have been ringing around in my head for awhile now. Maybe someday I will get settled enough to actually write or record them. Fingers crossed Portland will give me that opportunity!
