ABOUT
Karen Wagner is a professional singer/actress and vocal instructor. As a Boston Conservatory and Northeast Bible Institute alumni, some of Karen’s professional theatrical credits include Eva Peron in Evita, Rowena in Biloxi Blues, Lady Thiang in The King and I, the Narrator in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Leisl in The Sound of Music.
Karen is excited to be back in the studio co-writing and recording her second Christian album with producer Dennis Grady and Apostle Gary Jenkins. Her music can be heard on 104.9 WIHS and on the Gospel America Network. Karen, a singing evangelist with Sword of The Spirit Ministries also tours throughout the country "Spreading the Word" through music with Grace 'N Vessels Ministries. She is currently gearing up to perform at the Gospel Music Workshop of America's Unsigned Artist Showcase in Cincinnati, OH.
In addition, Karen has been the lead singer for many Boston and Connecticut based bands including Route 66, a 1940’s singing group and currently performs throughout New England with her one woman cabaret singing hits from the 20s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. She recently joined "STARS OF GOLD" a 50's/60's harmony based tribute band.
She has appeared as a regular guest and co-host on the nationally syndicated Joe Mazza Show, WELI’S Jerry Christopher Show and WPLR’S Chaz and AJ in the Morning as a guest vocal coach.
