ABOUT

I sing and play guitar, both electric and acoustic. I was a chord strummer singer for along time, used to write more than recently. Studied some jazz vocals, a few performances and open mics. Studied fingerpicking acoustic, went to Jorma Kaukonen's guitar camp and studied finger picking with him.

Lately, last 4 plus years, I have been playing more electric, self taught, and with online tools, and lessons through folks like Blue Bear School of Amerian Music here in SF. I am going into a ten week band workshop with them to really focus practicing with a regular group. It has been hard to find consistency.

I want to play electric and sing lead and back up, and write with someone. Would love to find a female cellist who sings.

I would like to find a drummer, or a bass player, or both for a tight duo or trio core.. a la White Stripes, or Cream, or Police, or Kristin Hersh style... the if other pieces come there is foundation to tap into. Another guitar, or horn, or keyboard. But start with a strong core.
