I grew up hearing my father on the piano and my mom on the violin. In high school they voted me “most musically inclined”, but they said music wasn’t a career so I went into corporate training. I picked up a microphone again around 2012 and did a cabaret show once a year to dip my toe in the water for a bit. Now I couldn’t stop singing if I tried. After Spring of 2020, a light opened and I began finding that melodies and lyrics flow when something was troubling. I have countless voice recordings of originals I need to learn how to develop. I have a mic and am an amateur filmmaker and just won Best Short at a Paris Film Festival. Production is not unfamiliar to me, although music production is. My goals are to write and record songs - originals, and to find a partner or team who enjoys collaborating, creating, flexing and flowing. To me, the real magic happens in the discovery between the two artists as they experience each other as the moments of discovery bounce off of each other. I collaborated with two musicians during songwriting retreat and we all agree that what we came up with never would’ve happened on our own. I find joy in harmony.
