ABOUT

Hello! My name is Kat, I am a song writer and lead vocalist of As De Bastos, a bilingual alternative, reggae-ish ska band from Ventura County. We recently played with renowned bands Panteon Rococo and Belanova. I am also the former lead vocalist of the bilingual pop-rock band Residuo. As a part of Residuo, along with bandmates I have shared the stage with bands and artists such as Enanitos Verdes, Ely Guerra, Julieta Venegas, Belanova, Elefante, Moenia and Hello Seahorse among many others. I have been lucky enough to play at both small venues and well known venues such as Whiskey A Go Go and The Majestic Ventura Theater.
We are currently searching for a DRUMMER and BASSIST. We need talented, hard working individuals with drive and a true passion for music. Not only the performance, but the creation of something we can all be proud of. We want people that are committed and understand music business. Sometimes we make money...sometimes we don't. Yet...we keep doing it cuz we love it and eventually we WILL make money. We are all super chill and are cool with people having side projects, but please don't have so many projects that you aren't committed to practice and end up being mediocre for all bands. We love what we are doing and are excited to hear from you. Cheers!
