I am strongly influenced by classical and have been playing since the age of 5. I write a fair amount of my own music, play entirely by ear, cannot read although I reached Classical Piano Grade 5 (UK). I like to jam and improvise. I'm pretty good at being able to quickly learn a cover of something new. I also sing, (alto), but prefer to do backing/harmonies than solo. I am English so am more familiar with the UK music scene but have become interested in bluegrass in the last few years. Would be keen to explore some jazz although it would be new territory for me. Am up for anything musically experimental, including electronica.
