I've been singing in varied choruses and doing some solo performance since I was 17. I'm mostly self-trained, though I studied piano for 5 years a long time ago and have taken voice lessons a few times. I have a strong, melodic voice suitable for folk, pop, or other acoustic music, plus classical performance and an ability to improvise harmonies, especially in the higher registers. My keyboard experience is minimal but I do have a good sense of rhythm. I would love to join a small acoustic group with several other good voices with an emphasis on harmony blends and some a capella singing along with acoustic guitar, keyboard, and perhaps stringed instruments. Interested mostly on a "for fun" basis.
