I am a singer, first and foremost. I had to move a lot after losing my parents so getting access to a piano has been difficult. I can sing a wide range of songs ranging from Carly Simon and Janis Joplin to Pink and Adele. I can sing both male and female parts in a lot of popular songs by popular bands like Fleetwood Mac and The Beatles. I can sight-read but I memorize a song best by practicing and hearing it a few times. I am planning on learning to play the electric guitar (I played acoustic guitar a little). I am frustrated by a lack of funds. I am looking for a garage (or attic) band which already has a lead and rhythm guitarist, a bass player and a drummer, and a couple of amps and speakers. My favorite instruments are a Fender Stratocaster and Marshall Amplifiers. Peavey are good amps too. I am also a sound engineer in my church. Right now I am not paid to do any of this. I am looking for a band that plays or is interested in playing block parties or weddings for hire. I don't mind playing for free to start but I will soon need some gigs that pay money. I have a degree in electronics and I am now just a cleaning lady. I HATE MY JOB ! I am looking to stop working for the rest of my life and make tons of money HAVING FUN !!!!! (I just hope I can enter into a LOUD and NOISY garage cranked up to 120db and not be rejected by the man-cave men in it). I hope this little synopsis of me helps! Thank you ladies and gentlemen !
