Band to Join, Vocalist, Acoustic Guitar.ABOUT
Looking for band or another acoustic player/vocalist to write/perform original music. Don't have a problem doing covers mixed in as well, would love to do some older R&B (Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone type stuff), or newer country (Jason Aldean, Paisley, etc.), as long as it sounds good--I'm open to about anything. Time is limited, so I am looking for those that are fairly serious about lining up some work, and are ready to go. Rehearsal time is always limited, so looking for other musicians with experience who are "ready to go" and come to rehearsal to rehearse, not learn songs:) I would also be interested if there is an opening in an established band in need of a vocalist/songwriter who can also cover guitar and key parts (though I prefer guitar, carrying an extra keyboard rig is not something I prefer to do, but would consider if they right situation presented itself). I've heard several acoustic players on BandMix that were very impressive, wouldn't mind doing a duo type acoustic gig with another vocalist/acoustic player. I've included a few tracks from the current project I am working on, I am covering vocals and wrote the three songs I've shared to give you an idea of the type of music I am working on, but again, it's just a sample, I also have songs that are much harder, and a few that are much more "traditional" sounding country tunes. I am not concerned so much with "genres", just good music, in fact, I actually love the idea of blending styles and genres, from hip-hop and country to jazz and rock----sometimes those variations in the styles are what give the music an originality and vibe, so I am looking for others who are opened minded in that respect as well.

Here I Am
Here I Am Year: 2016 Album: TBA Genre: Country
Rough unmixed sample of current project, kind of a mix of rock/pop/country. Really like the idea of mixing all sorts of styles and genres of music, combining country, rock, etc., throwing in some drum machines here and there, mixing electronic with more traditional fiddle/dobro/???---as long as it's interesting, and a good song, I am open to lots of different approaches.

Unmixed rough version of Signs, one of the songs on a project I am currently finishing up. I am doing the keys and vocals, and I wrote all the songs on this project. Some really great musicians contributing, Brent Mason on guitars, Paul Simmons on drums (which sound amazing, though you really can't hear it with this stem of the drum tracks).
