I am a 38 year female, seeking to join a Band, for fun at first, then willing to commit to rigfht situation. I was a Karaoke DJ for several years, but have limited Band experience, accept for Jam sessions with Band friends and a few stand in's. I've got a lot of vocal range and a unique voice, presence and a great attitude, willing to learn. I write lyrics for originals and have memorized the lyrics to approx. 1,000 songs. I do both Male and female cover vocals.

Influences
Gosh, where do I even begin... Bad Company, Judas Priest, Great White, Kix, Heart, Pat Benetar, Joan Jett, Scorpions, Steve Miller Band, Really into the classic Rock, 70's & 80's music, as well as alternative and present. Can even do some Shania, Faith Hill & Wynona Judd, Miley Cyrus, Cyndi Lauper and so on... Ideally, I could front a Band alternately, with a Male vocalist to cover songs out of my vocal range and do back up vocals.The ideal situation would be a primarily 80's cover band, as back home where I am from, in PA. there are two local 80's cover bands and they sell out every show (standing room only!) The one hit wonder, cheezy stuff and hair band era. But want to do some current music too.
