power pop band seeks lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist. Our band is called The Pop Rockets. We are highly motivated musicians with a goal of bringing power pop music back to the music scene.
We do a variety of power pop music from 60s to present. Harmonies are very very very important to out band. We want to sound as good vocally as we do musically. Our goal is casinos and bigger venues but we realize we will have to do some club shows on our journey.
Our influences are The Beatles, XTC, Cheap Trick, The Raspberries, Badfinger, Wings, Bowie, Plimsouls, hot hot heat etc.
