I began playing piano in the second grade and then began playing the clarinet in 5th. I then picked up the saxophone and more or less phased out the clarinet although I am still decent. I played in the pep, marching, concert and jazz bands all throughout high school and won the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award my senior year. I have been playing with the Harvard University Summer Pops Band for the past three summers as well, which performs at Harvard Yard and the Hatch Shell Esplanade in Boston. In college I have organized Emmanuel Colleges Pep Band but have since transferred and am currently looking for some new musical oppertunities. I miss live performances and would like to play with a band socially and publically at gigs. As a student my schedule is very flexible. I am willing to dedicate myself to a regular practice schedule and perform.
