ABOUT

Hello, my name is Kelly Weaver and I have been playing and gigging out for over a decade now with some limited success. I am also the host for an internet radio show on .tapdetroit called "Is This Thing On!" which is centered around the Detroit music scene, making it stronger in solidarity and all things Detroit musician and fan alike. Up to current date I have been the bassist for a local Detroit band called .12 Gauge Persuasion and some of the other projects I have been involved with has been DOWNTIME, KRONiS, High Water and The Dharma Initiative. I have also had the pleaure to play with Ty Stone and others over the years. What I am looking for at the moment is like minded musicians who want to work on multiple musical projects of an original and possible cover material style, not looking to be the next big thing, but to do something big in general. Influences

In general I am a fan of most music, some of the influences of material I am working on would be Motorhead meets Johnny Cash for one project and another that would be a meeting of Pink and Linkin Park. I fully believe that you create music for yourself but in order to get your music out there you must make music for the people, something that they can support, understand and help share. Get at me and lets do some work.
