ABOUT

I've played over 1,000 shows, toured, recorded, etc. I'm picky about what I'll get involved with now. I'm interested in progressive or aggressively alternative music. I'm not interested in playing covers, mainstream, or "classic" anything. I'm open to shows, recording, some touring as well. Contact alt_thought at hot mail.

Ideally in rock I'd like to do something along the lines of shellac, jesus lizard, helmet, rapeman, melvins, scratch acid, early Nirvana. This of course requires a very specific guitar style. Or, I'd love to do a goth or industrial project. Think Cleopatra records, or on the industrial side skinny puppy or youth code. / Or, a shoegaze thing, like my bloody valentine, autolux, ariel... Or, something that sounds like Interpol, she wants revenge, joy division...

I also delve into hybrid electronic projects. At one point I started a live drum n' bass/jungle outfit in NYC. I can also play with any live hip hop outfit.

Influences

Jazz, 90's hardcore, punk, hip hop/trip hop, indie, metal, groove, live drum n' bass/jungle.

I've been fortunate enough to play in bands of all of the above styles and have had paying gigs in each instance. Currently I play in a post- black metal band that I'm very pleased with. I would consider taking on another project now, especially if its like something described above. I will remain in Buffalo henceforth.
