I did weekend gigs for a long time with different bands.
Since I retired from my job and the bandstand in 2012 the only music I've played is church music.
I have a wide background in different kinds of music from country, christian (both english and hispanic) . I know most of the old standards and I have done most of the Eagles at one time or another. My vocals are ok, nothing special, but my guitar playing is good. I have a good ear for music and I also read music.
I have a good knowledge of chord structure and I know the keys of C, D, Eb, E, F, G, A, & Bb.

Influences
I listen mostly to jazz & classical music (not the heavy kind)
I also listen to the Eagles (one of my favorite groups)
I also have a cd of Merle Haggard in my car, along with Frank Sinatra, Natalie Cole and Kiana Krall.
I am looking to join other musicians to play wherever the opportunity presents itself.
I'm not looking to make any money.
The thing I miss most about the bandstand is the joy of sharing music together.with other musicians.

EQUIPMENT
I play a Les Paul style guitar. I have a Fender Champ 20 amp here at the house and I have a Fender Champ 40 amp that stays at the Church.
The only musical commitments I have right now is on Sunday morning from 9:15 am until about 10:30.
