ABOUT

Hello. I have been singing since I was very young. I have sang in many choirs throughout middle and high school, and would even perform "Tomorrow" by Annie for my family at just 6 years old. In my 20's I sang backup for local rap artists, and in 2007 I was featured on a cd by a local rap artist named Urban Sol. I got to work with a well-known Producer who sang backup for MC Hammer back in the '90's. In my early 30s, I performed in a hip/hop music group singing backup vocals, until all the members went their seperate ways. I also won 2nd place twice out of a singing competition with over a hundred contestants.

Music runs in my veins, and I feel it is a talent I have always have. I started writing songs when I was 12 years old, and I also write poetry. I am a self-published author of a poetry book and novels.

I have worked with music software programs such as Reaons 11, Fruity Loops, Pro Tools etc. I also have equipment that is portable and I can record anywhere.

I am definitely looking for musicians to work with. R&B soul and neo-soul are my best genres, but I have also proven to be able to sing Country, gospel, rock, and pop. I am able to sing by ear only listening to a song a few times, and I can sing alto and soprano, but classify myself as a mezzo-soprano.
