ABOUT

So far I've been 61 years pickin at the acoustic & eelectric guitar. I'm still strugglin to make music on them. After all this time I've learned 3 chords in several keys and I try to use them to make some music. Lookin for someone who might help me play some songs & stay in time & in tune. For the longest time now I've been trying to incorporate melodic lines over the 3 chord progressions that I've studied, some times I throw in a ii or V of V and a sharp V or Vl. Sometimes I try my luck at a iii-Vl-ii-V turnaround when I'm feeling confident.The major diatonic scale along with the major & minor pentatonic as well as a few other scales are what I've been tryin to use to full advantage but just seem to be fallin short of the mark. I'm shootin to make some jazzified country kinda sounds with a bit of grind but ain't had much luck. If some a you folks out there in cyberland are close to Vacaville and think you might like to struggle with me musically in order to put together a smooth sound I'd sure appreciate ya lookin me up. As the saying goes, "I can't carry a tune in a bucket" so's for the most part I work on instrumental tunes. It sure would be nice to hook up with a bonafied crooner, a swingin bass player and another guitar player or accompanist........Hell,,, maybe even a drummer,,,,if he don't mind playin with brushes.
