ABOUT

I’m a ‘fairly’ serious musician, meaning I haven’t played much recently (explains “fairly”), but I’ve been doing this long enough and have had reasonable success. I want to form or enter a new project, join/augment an already established professional outfit, or work as a hired musician as either a studio and/or live musician. I want to avoid beginner-level musicians/bands and unprofessional drama.

Note: I suffered a significant hand injury I'm still learning to recover from, as well as a permanent lung injury, so I’m limited primarily on drums, but only a little. I can still play very well, just leaning how long and how hard.

As for me as a musician - Drums: dummer since 5 y/o and have had the fortune to tour the world a couple times playing drums. I have also been in and out of the studios and have also begun my own studio business (KstrongStudios L.L.C. TM). My influences are endless but I most identify with: Neil Peart, Alex Van Halen, Danny Carey, Kenny Aronoff, Gregg Bissonette, Josh Freeze, John Bonham, Ian Paice, Don Brewer, Dave Grohl, Clive Bunker, Chad Smith, etc.

As for guitar, my following influences are: EVH, SRV, Billy Gibbons, Zakk Wylde, Slash, David Gilmour, Ritchie Blackmore, Satriani, Ted Nugent, Rickey Medlocke, Johnny Van Zant, Audley Freed, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jimmy Page, and many, many more.
