If you need a sub, I'm your guy. I have no interest in playing full time with any one band. That said, here's my 'brag-blah': I've opened for Buck Owens (Remember him?) Played bass with Bill Haley's Comets, have backed up Aaron Tippin on stage as well as the late Sheila Raye Charles, yes Ray Charles' daughter. I'm a lead guitar player and also double on pedal steel, bass, keyboards, drums, ukulele, banjo, mandolin and melodica. I have vast experience also as a MIDI Sequence Composer and am a member of the MIDI Association. I've gigged professionally since 1965 and am a seasoned pro. I like freelancing these days and not being chained full time to just one group. While my description may sound egotistical, I am far from it; I'm just stating some facts about myself. I have no time for egotistical musicians or anyone with drug or alcohol problems. My favorite genres include Classic Country from the 60's & 70's, not the garbage they currently call 'Country'. I also love playing The Blues and 60-70's Rock. I'm extremely fussy on my sound. I do not idolize any musicians, especially the ones that were or are drug addicts. With my experience composing MIDI Sequences, I worked for years as a solo guitarist/singer playing in front of my original MIDI tracks. Utilizing those tracks landed me a full time job for five solid years doing over 600 gigs as house musician at an upscale restaurant/lounge in the Brainerd MN lakes area called Bar Harbor. If you have a drummer that is capable of following a click track, my MIDI tracks can bring a whole new dimension to any band. With it, my own trio "Enterprise" covers even the complex 'beyond-3-chords' songs by groups as diverse as Steely Dan, Chicago, etc. The profile on this website asks "How many gigs have you played". Influences

First and foremost, The Ventures and Chet Atkins. Then, Walter Becker, Larry Carlton, Wes Montgomery and Stevie Ray Vaughan. I don't mind Clapton but I'm not a fan of his tone. From a quality of performing music standpoint, Steely Dan is my absolute favorite. If you've never heard of Steely Dan, please move on to the next musician.
