Career Highlights
Working as an educator for 40 years, I taught at Berklee College of Music, the Royal College of Music, NYU/TISCH (for Mr. Clive Davis) with a focus on entrepreneurship and music business.

I assisted in the
re-mix of Simon Townshend’s (lead guitar, The Who) CD, Among Us and lead numerous workshops concerning radio, music marketing and career development. I worked with Jonathan Edward’s label, Rising Records and Steve Burton of Rounder Records.

I also presented numerous seminars nation-wide, including the National Folk Alliance, the Boston Music Awards, and the NEMO Conference.

Kevin has toured the Soviet Union and shared the stage with artists like Patty Larkin, Simon Townshend, Peter Wolf, Johnny Hoy & The Bluefish, the Swinging Steaks, and Livingston Taylor.

His CD, This Distant Light, featured Duke Levine, Ellis Paul, Vance Gilbert and Catie Curtis. Nominated for a Boston Music Award, the project
received national press and airplay at over 120 radio stations. His label, WaterBoat Music, recently inked a national distribution deal with Goldenrod/Horizon for Kevin’s
latest critically acclaimed release, Trust – featuring Kevin Barry, Mike Rivard, and Woody Giessmann.

Winner of the New England Broadcasting Award, Kevin has written and produced jingles, audio books and worked as a DJ and Music Director at WUMB-FM, a NPR folk
station in Boston, MA. He also created, hosted and produced the popular New England Coffeehouse Hour. Taped before a live audience at the Old Vienna Koffeehaus, the 12
one-hour shows featured Vance Gilbert, Ellis Paul, Tony Cuffe, Johnny Cunningham, The Mollys, Patty Larkin and other top folk artists.
