ABOUT

Hey, I'm Keyano. I used to be on a rough ride until I picked up the guitar about a year and a half ago. I had played the viola for 8 years prior, but never really felt the passion I feel for the guitar. I'm up until 3 or 4 every night practicing, and I am content to make great music in any way i can contribute.

Influences

I was in a classical orchestra for 8 years, but my biggest influence is my guitar teacher, D.C. Carnes. D.C. was in the Robert Lockwood Jr. band for 15 years, and is one of the coolest, down to earth people I know. My favorite artists include The Allman Brothers Band, The Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Bob Marley, and many other influences. Honestly, I am a Pandora type of guy so I don't know who I am listening to half the time haha. I'll go from Indian Classical to Miles Davis to Lester Stanley in an hour. Jerry Garcia is my hero

EQUIPMENT

1959 Silvershoot Acoustic(my instructor's old guitar :) ) Epiphone Les Paul, Peavy Modeling Amp, Viola, Synthesizer, Wah Wah Pedal. I am willing to buy a suitable amp for upcoming gigs.
