I am searching for musicians in or near Kent, WA. I attended the University of Montana for Music Performance. I have performed with symphony orchestras, jazz groups, rock and roll bands, western bands, and most recently a great 9 piece soul band out of Seattle. I have a home here in Kent with a music studio. Prefer to find local musicians so we can focus more on practicing instead of commuting. Of course the long run is to perform everywhere. I’m open to all venues and genres of performance and music. Dream group would be myself on drums, a good percussionist, bass, guitar and keyboard + one.

Influences
My most important influence has been my father who was a rudimental military drummer, jazz percussionist for groups such as Les Brown, Red Norval and Stan Kenton and in his later years taught music and percussion. I was personal associates with Sylvester James and have learned from and admired musicians Billy Cobham, Louis Belson and David Geribaldi. Some of my favorite groups are Tower of Power, Earth, Wind and Fire, Marcus Miller, Ahmad Jamal, Prince and Sylvester.
