I learned how to support and drive a song playing in originals bands during the hardcore punk and college radio era of the late eighties and early nineties. I also studied, and do currently with a top LA based teacher, in order to grow and expand my playing vocabulary. I strive to play outside of the genre based licks and grooves approach, and believe that great drumming is independent of those confines.

1967 Ludwig 3 piece Ringo kit, 13”,16”, 22”, with Jazz Fest, and Black Beauty snare drums. Ludwig Classic Maple kit 13”,16”,18”, 24”. Multiple vintage Istanbul Agop and Zildjian K cymbals with DW hardware and Beato bags for gigs.
