Just looking to kick around some rock songs and see where it goes. Also play Bluegrass. As far as level of commitment, depends on how committed other players are. Many musicians tend to exaggerate their level of commitment, so I don't want to over sell where I am at in that regard, but in the right situation I can see cutting through the crap and putting in the effort. Also about the hardest thing I imbibe in is a green tea.

Les Paul, a small solid state Marshall amp along with a couple of inexpensive acoustic guitars. I am not much of a collector of instruments. I am of the belief they should be played rather than talked about and doted over, or treated as museum pieces (unless you had something like Hedrix's guitar from Woodstock). I usually plug strait into my amp without any effects. Have a noise gate for high volume.
