ABOUT

I’ve been out of the music world for a minute and now am back in it, realizing I missed it like a missing limb. I'm primarily looking to play drums/percussion and do some collaborative singing/songwriting. I’m a trumpet player who made the jump to drums and vocals last year and am extremely committed even though I’m new to that side of things. I have gotten into some singing/songwriting but need partners in crime. I play trumpet and percussion in a Rolling Stones cover band as well as with Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers out of AZ. I’m looking for anything local, from people who just wanna get together and jam to joining or forming a band and writing some songs. I’m super low key, no drama, have quality gear, show up on time, and have a great place for us to rehearse if we need it. I own my own business so I’m pretty flexible on availability.

I’m open to playing anything, but if I could choose I’d like to build a bluesy rock or Americana band.

Vintage baby! Slingerland and Ludwig drum kits

Other random stuff:
Yamaha acoustic and Fender strat guitars, both mid level but they sound great. Got lucky.

A couple of decent speakers, guitar and bass amps, and a couple of pretty nice Rode vocal mics that we can use if anyone needs to plug in.

I have a pretty great practice space in north Austin as well.
