Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter/guitarist ISO bassist to round out my band KITARI. We've been together for just about a year now, playing shows in and around NYC off the strength of our debut EP, "The Scarecrow & the Manor."
We are looking for a proficient bassist who is comfortable playing Peter Hook style post-punk bass lines or reggae inspired bass lines. Bass guitar is very forward in the mix.
We rehearse 1-2 times a week and try to play 1-2 times per month. We have our own rehearsal space in Williamsburg.
Our music has been on Radio Woodstock and can be found on Spotify and iTunes. We are heading back to Woodstock, NY in late February to record a full-length album. We are looking to go on a two-three week tour this summer and play some festivals.
