I LOVE jazz and blues. . .I sing for the jazz band at Illinois Wesleyan University and I gig with a jazz combo regularly. I've played piano since I was 6 and have been singing forever. I'm a voice major - classically trained so I won't trash my voice. :o) I'm hoping to find some people to jam with over the summer, do some open mics etc. Started writing my own stuff a little bit, but I'm not sure how great it is. I have a really versatile voice, and I enjoy lots o' kinds of music. . .I briefly sang in an 80's-inspired rock band. Sometimes I like to take walks with my ipod, and pretend that it's the soundtrack to my life. I can't wait to get out of school so I can start working at Starbucks and making music and being HAPPY, so my parents are elated to be paying for my education, HA. I'm going to UNT next year to get my masters in jazz studies, but I'll be around this summer and I'd definitely like to be gigging!!

Don't make me pick, indecision is my specialty.
