My name is Dane and I'm a guitarist and cornetist. I've been playing my instruments for 16 years, and throughout that time I've had a variety of stylistic focuses as well as teaching, writing, and performing experiences.

As a kid, I was a staunch metal-head and that drove my motivation to practice and acquire technical skills. I picked up the trumpet and pursued jazz studies and ventured into choir to sing and study theory throughout high school. I've pursued Japanese taiko drums due to its similarity to metal, which gave me diverse rhythmic skills as well as countless writing, teaching, and performing opportunities in both Denver and Southern California. Over the past few years, I've refocused my musical focus on the guitar, working to take my technical, theory, writing, and performing skills to new heights. I just recently graduated from university and I'm eager to meet with like-minded people to write, record, and perform music together.
