I bill myself as the High Per4mance poet. The music for my songs vary depending on the poem, so the musicians in my band have to be familiar with different genre's. They don't have to be masters of Jazz, blues or Rock just familiar with the feelings and groove. Of course you have to have transportation and a positive attitude about the project. In this band we will play my stuff, your stuff, her stuff and their (cover songs) stuff...but it will mostly be funky danceable stuff. Some soft ballady/instrumental stuff as well, to break the monotony of Funkyass Dance stuff. Just to show our flexibility as musicians and creators of ear art.
