Hi my name is Konrad Broock. I am a pro vocalist with a band called Konrad and the Groove. Our first gig is this friday and our bass player had to quite due to medical reasons. We have been practicing for 6 weeks for this and now have to scramble to find a replacement. Our genre is r&b/old school funk/pop. E.W.F. Steely Dan, etc. We are performing at Rhythm Kitchen from 9pm-mid on Friday. It will be filmed in HD in order to get our promo reel completed and then Ill have something to shop around to get us into a showroom somewhere. Unfortunately for Fridays gig we are all playing for free but the intention is to get a good paying gig in a showroom.
