Koopa Sawyer is a drummer with 15+ years of experience. He is currently seeking freelance opportunities for fill-in gigs and session work.

Based just outside Boston, he has held the full-time drum throne for several regional groups, including Dark Martini & the Dirty Olives (power trio), Mike MacDonald and the Widowmakers (alt-country), Southern Lust Club (blues rock) and the Steve Walther Orchestra (old -timey, rag-timey voodoo jazz). He currently performs with JBJ & The Blended Family.

His desire for new and interesting projects and endless love of performing have led to gigs at dive bars, basement parties, family restaurants, drag shows, outdoor holiday soirees, and swanky hotel rooms up and down the East Coast.
