I'm a musician whose "fallback" is nursing. Even though I'm a nurse full time at a psychiatric hospital, singing is my passion and has been since I could talk. I "play" the mandolin but mostly chords, not picking, as my voice is truly my forte and is where my commitment lies. I have written some songs and play lots of covers ranging from classic rock, gospel, indie, and pop. I like to put my own style on things and I'm looking for others who have been playing instruments longer than I have and who are fun and committed. I've got a decent fan base as I used to play in the park and on the streets a lot in Eureka Springs from summer 2008-fall 2010. Since I finished nursing school and started working full time, music has fallen by the wayside, much to my dismay. I've had studio time offers and many people who showed interest in my music but timing never seemed to be right. I'm looking to find at least one or two serious musicians who have vocal talent as well, if for nothing else other than having a good time but with gigs as the main goal. I'd be satisfied just playing the Eureka Springs/Bentonville/Fayetteville area if nothing else.
