I'm interested in doing classic country and/or the kind of stuff you hear on Outlaw Country on Sirius/XM (alt-country, Americana, "too rock for country, but too country for rock," however you want to describe it). I'm fine with with covers or originals, but it won't be the kind of stuff that gets you into the standard top-40 bar gig.
I have been playing some sort of instrument for all but the first few years of my life. When I picked up the guitar around the age of 15, I found my instrument of choice. I have performed on the side stage before major shows, such as Brooks & Dunn and Kenny Chesney, opened for Trent Tomlinson, etc as well as in all kinds of honky tonks, dive bars, private party's, clubs...
