Band to Join, Vocalist, Bass Guitar, Drums, Keyboard.

I am looking for middle aged musicians that are tired of playing the same old rock classics that have been played millions of times. There are some classic rock tunes that are not usually covered that I want to play. For example, instead of playing Smoke on the Water, I want to play Maybe I'm a Leo. Excellent tune with some cool off beat drumming. Instead of playing Aqualung, I want to play A New Day Yesterday. A really cool tune with a riff in 5/4, 7/8. Instead of playing Comfortably Numb, I want to play Have a Cigar. Instead of playing Twist and Shout, I want to play Dig a Pony. This is musician's music with different time signatures and being more on the progressive side of rock. Listening music rather than dance music.

I know the guitar (Rhythm and lead parts) and vocals to those tunes and many others. Open to similar suggestions. I need a great keyboardist, bass and drums. Lead and backing vocals a plus. Please do not respond to this ad unless you can play the tunes above. They are challenging and they require homework to get them down.

I have a small practice space in my basement with a small PA and a 5 piece Tama Superstar drum set. I would like to practice once every week or 2.

You should be within 15 miles of Framingham so we don't always have to play at my place.

I am a serious musician and want to master these tunes. If it sounds good, I wouldn't mind playing out some. But I have a serious day job and don't need the extra money.

The goal is to have fun playing awesome rock tunes.
