ABOUT

Looking for a good music outlet. I want to get out and play live. Ideally I would like to play in a rock, progressive rock/metal band (old school progressive rock like Yes and Genesis all the way to metal like Dream Theater) doing original music and maybe a few good covers. However, I'm also down to play in a cover band. I'd even be up for a tribute band given the right band to do that for. I'm also interested in acoustic/folk/singer-songwriter music... kinda that coffee shop scene.

EQUIPMENT

Guitar: Line 6 Flextone III Modeling amp with floorboard, Epiphone SG, Ibanez RG 120, Alvarez Acoustic/Electric. iPad Ampkit app.

Bass: Ibanez Gio GSR 200 (four string), Ibanez SR405 (five string),Behringer bass amp.

Keyboard: Casio WK-220 connected to an iPad for additional synth sounds. If keyboards are enough of a part of a band I join, I will also get a 61 key midi controller for added functionality with the iPad. Dream keyboard is the Korg Krome 88 key... would also consider getting this for the right project...

I have my own mic and cables. I also have some PA speakers and a small head for them, but they are more for a practice room environment than performing on stage. I also have a garage that can be used for practice (heated in the winter).
