I am a Juilliard trained opera singer with roots in classic 70's rock, classic Jazz, country, musical theater...a little of everything really. I started my musical journey very early (10 years old) studying percussion and jazz guitar which I continued to study privately until college. I've written my own songs (closely resembling Brandi Carlile in style/flavor) and played acoustic guitar consistently since the age of 11. (I'm currently 30) My voice is where the bulk of my talent lies. While I am classically trained, there is no operatic sound in my "pop style". However, because of my training my range is very large and my tuning is generally spot on. I love making music. Truly, in any genre but I'm specifically looking for people to jam with as I've started to miss my guitars and miss the act of making music with a group of people. That's what I'm looking for here. I'm leaning towards forming a band of the blues variety (at least with a blues feel to it) but am simply seeking like minded music makers to tell stories with.
