We are 22 and 26 years of age.
We have 11 original songs with complete guitar and vocal parts (including lyrics) that we’ve been practicing to get to performance level. We may work on more (we’ve written several others) and we're also interested in writing a couple new ones in a full band situation to include on a first album.
We’ve gone out and performed acoustic versions of some of our songs on open mic nights. We’d like to think that the positive feedback and requests we’ve received have been genuine.
This is an upstart project. Our demos were self-made and we added the drum and bass sounds ourselves to give you a starting place. We only have two “full band” demos up right now because we’ve been devoting a lot more time to writing and rehearsing than recording/mixing.
We have pro gear.
We play in-tune.
We care about our volume balance.
In every practice we use click tracks or drum tracks we've made because keeping good time is important to us.
You will NOT have to pitch in for practice room rent. Your attendance and hard work is worth a lot to us. We will consider your location when settling down into a room.
We want to put on great shows starting this fall and make professional albums.
This is what makes us lame:
Druggies (including tokers) and alcoholics are not welcome. Reasonable alcohol consumption is fine, but we’re opposed to performing or rehearsing drunk.
Kids are great, but they tend to take a lot of responsibility. The amount of responsibility this band needs is most definitely going to conflict with your kid(s) and we are not advocates of “dead beat parents” so please consider that before you respond to us.
We’ll need you to make the band a priority. We’ve been practicing at least twice a week. You can help us decide what days to practice, but if you’re never available on most weeknights or never available on weekends then things are not going to work.
We wouldn't mind a little help making up sick bass and drum parts…
These are all things considered from previous experiences, so sorry if it seems like we’re being too strict (d-bags), but we are very serious about the future of this band.
