SEEKINGBand to Join, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Drums, Other Percussion, Piano.
I'm looking for any combination of musicians who will play my music with as much commitment as I will play theirs. I'm looking for great players, to be sure, but I'm also interested in supportive players, folks who encourage one another to play their best and who get as excited about everyone else's playing as much as their own.
I prefer playing original music, but covers are fine too, especially if the band can take them in a fresh direction. (I'm much less interested in "sounding just like the record.")
As a bass player, the older I get the more I like to groove. So don't expect a lot of flash. Expect a thick bottom end that supports the song.
I played full time back in the day, but these days I have a family and a great day job, so I'm not looking to tour the world. Well, unless it was a really good tour. But I'll put in the time to make the band sound good.

My Baby's Door
My Baby's Door Year: 2019 Album: In process Genre: Rock
My ode to Chuck Berry. This is a rough track. Keyboards, mixing and mastering still to come. I'm singing all the vocals and holding down the low end, while the fabulous John Would and Amy Wood play guitars and drums respectively.
Is It? Year: 2010 Album: Dogpatch Sonatas Genre: Rock
One of the more rockesque songs from my first album. I wrote the song and I sing and play bass. And I fiddled on one of the electric guitar tracks.
I Don't Know Why
I Don't Know Why Year: 2010 Album: Dogpatch Sonatas Genre: R&B
R&B? Maybe. Or smooth-jazz. It's to you to decide. I'm singing and playing bass on this song, which I also wrote.
