ABOUT

32 years old. Have played guitar in some live capacity off and on for past 15+ years - playing for almost 20 years. Comfortable playing rhythm and though I’m no virtuoso I can get into some slightly technical lead work. I have gig worthy gear. Have had some experience playing with a committed band in the past. Have been singing seriously for the past 10+ years. Looking to find some folks to create music with. If that leads to playing some shows or something more I'm open to it and willing to explore the possibilities. I do, however, have a day job and family that are my top priority.

Influences

Too many really...Would be easier to say what type of music I like to play. I love to play everything from metal to blues to ambient to funk to acoustic. Some of my favorite bands/influences: Thrice, Extol, Dream Theater (John Petrucci I am not!), Tool, Radiohead, Periphery, Rage Against the Machine, Steven Wilson, Soundgarden, Faith No More, Sigur Ros. Recent favorites are: Tesseract, Fleshkiller, 12 Foot Ninja, Haken, The Contortionist, Russian Circles, Snarky Puppy. Still enjoy but used to be REALLY into 00's metalcore/screamo - Killswitch Engage, Haste the Day, Underoath, As Cities Burn. Though it looks like I'm mostly into heavy stuff, I like tons of stuff and love to play tons of stuff
