Last Minute Son is an indie rock/folk pop band from Asheville, North Carolina that writes and performs throughout the US. Tristan, the band's originator and lead singer, is also a French native speaker and writes songs in both languages on guitar and piano.
Tristan was born in Texas and learned to love music early on. His songwriting came later when he experienced the passion and talent of Keith Urban in concert.
The next day, he bought his first guitar from a pawn shop. What seemed an impulse buy turned heads that same afternoon when his friend taught him his first 5 chords to the song “Country Roads” by John Denver. That night he wrote his first song “Miracle” which was about his younger sister and her bravery.
Some contemporary artists he emulates and has been compared to include: Matchbox 20, Mumford and Sons, James Blunt, Bruno Mars, Neil Young, John Mayer and U2
