I've spent most of my life singing in a higher range, soprano is the closest discription of that range. I took chorus classes but had very limited stage experience.

Through out my life since high school I've been at first experimenting with and then ultimately really trying to deepen my voice to more appropriately fit the rock/ metal genre I'm interested in pursuing. I can scream (yes the real rage scream that's present in most rock/metal music), I know cause I've been doing it all my life (sometimes to the point of having the cops called) I'd really like to develop this skill properly and maybe even put words (besides cussing which is very easy for me) to it. I've also recently learned to do something I can only describe as a growl thought I do have to cover my mouth to do it.

Really I'm looking for someone who I can practice my craft with (hopefully without the cops being called)

I do write lyrics and have written two that could potentially be songs in the past two weeks, But I'd still like to find someone to help jump start the old noggin.

I also am pretty decent at figuring out notation software to write music. I have a few songs and melodies I've written on .noteflight

Okay I'm currently listening to Nightwish, Bring me the horizon, Avenged Sevenfold, others along those same lines.

But I do also have favorites in Pop, rap, classic rock, even some inspirational/spiritual music.

Instrument experience:

keyboard: I can really only pick out notes and melodies so it's mostly used in coming up with ideas.
Guitar (missing a string) and amp: never learned to play it but I do have a vague memory of picking out the melody notes to some Beatles song I can't recall the name of.
