Probably gonna come back and revise this but for now:
I play guitar, and recently have been getting back into it after a decade away from my instruments. I can play chords, major scales, but I confess i never studied theory or modes, etc. (But I went to film school and know how to write a story arc that could translate into writing music, if that counts??)
I'm just looking for people that are also music junkies to jam with and have fun. Im not sure how well i will play with other musicians, but i feel semi-confident I'll be able to keep rhythm at least. If it's fun I'd be seriously interested in pursuing writing and/or playing gigs. I've never been in an 'actual' band, just playing with a few friends, years ago. But it's always been a passion of mine.
I've also been working on vocals the past year and finally learned how to fry scream enough to be dangerous i guess, for any punk/hardcore musicians interested in that ;-)
