My name is Leah Rice and I’m 25. I just moved back to Boston from California.
I enrolled into online courses at Berklee for my certificate in Artist Management, which brought me back to Massachusetts.
I had a great experience in California focusing on artist management and working in a home studio. I travelled with a rock band throughout 2016. There were 3 separate legs of a US tour and a 3 show tour in South America.
I assisted the band in any way possible - setting up and taking apart the drums was my main job. I also stood on the side of the stage assisting musicians on stage during their performance: water, picks, switch guitars, etc. I can tune drums, switch heads, etc. I helped with sound set up and breakdown. I helped the band/tour managers when needed assisting with meet & greets and signings, etc.
I also worked the merchandise booth whenever they needed extra help or the merch guy was unavailable
I am super reliable, flexible, available, energetic, fun, professional and passionate about music!
I am looking to further my career in music and hope to be an artist manager or tour manager in the future
