ABOUT

We were all sitting in front of the television waiting to see the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show. As soon as they began, I ran to the garage, got my tennis racket and did my first air guitar. At the young age of 7, I knew music was going to be a big part of my life. I played my first gig at age 9 with a 50's group called Joe Hotrod and the Sparkplugs. Funny thing, Ed Sullivan was starting to have groups like Iron Butterfly and Steppenwolf on. I fell madly in love with that psychedelic music. Soon the hair got longer, and soon the first Rock band was formed. COMOTION played all the FM hits - Santana, Alice Cooper, Steppenwolf, Deep Purple, Led Zepplin and so on. 40 years later, I am still playing and still learning to appreciate the music that I missed when I was Rockin it out. I have played John Denver to Def Leppard and everything in between. I have played for as many as 40,000 screaming fans to as few as 10 or 15 people. I don't have the room to list all my influences, but most people tell me that it is pretty obvious when you hear me play. Sometimes I do it note for note, but mostly I do what I feel. I think I have rearranged just about every song that we do and most of it has been real time.
Thanks for listening to my guitar. It is the one way I can guarantee you a front seat to my soul.
