I have been playing bass in several bands since the 80's. Mainly rock but also a lot of country (Texas Country, Americana). I also have been active in bluegrass jams on Mandolin and Acoustic Guitar. I do a lot of harmony vocals as well.
I have a career and do music for fun. My favorite thing is just jamming with friends. I will do gigs as well periodically. I like to do the electric/rock thing but also love to do acoustic jams and gigs.

Influences
Too many! I cut my bass teeth on Rush and Iron Maiden, but love lots of genres. anything from 80's rock, metal, prog rock, power trio, new wave, alternative (REM). 60's and 70's classic rock, southern rock, jam band. On the Folk/Country side, I love Old Time, Fiddle Tunes, Bluegrass, Traditional Country, Bakersfield, Outlaw, Red Dirt, Neo-Traditional, Texas Country Alt-Country, Americana. Acoustic: Jack Johnson, Avett Brothers, etc.

All Pro gear - Fender basses, Ampeg SVT. Eastman Mandolin, Martin Acoustic-Electric. I have a fully equipped home studio for rehearsals and recording, including Drums, Keyboard, amps, monitors, headphones, mics, digital mixer, Pro Tools. I also have a small PA (QSC K10/12s) and lighting setup
